  1. Doc, The Malivoire 2011 Gamay lived up to your review, but at $17.95 are you serious? I understand the imported labour drives up the cost of VQA wines here in Niagara, but come on, any Brouilly is a far better bargain.

    I agree. I don’t see our prices dropping any time soon for a host of reasons. The bad news is that with the Canadian dollar dropping in value relative to other currencies, that nice Brouilly might not be a far better bargain for that much longer. The good news is that it’s not the middle of winter…
