Doc, The Malivoire 2011 Gamay lived up to your review, but at $17.95 are you serious? I understand the imported labour drives up the cost of VQA wines here in Niagara, but come on, any Brouilly is a far better bargain.
I agree. I don’t see our prices dropping any time soon for a host of reasons. The bad news is that with the Canadian dollar dropping in value relative to other currencies, that nice Brouilly might not be a far better bargain for that much longer. The good news is that it’s not the middle of winter…
Doctor, Here’s one at an identical price point as the Malivoire that won three stars out of three in the 2013 Guide Hachette. The French are tough to beat at price and quality.
